FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is found in the biggest industrial location within northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide array of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
The company began crane production in 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru now makes and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machines are designed and engineered for a variety of applications and there are units available to cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has some extremely flexible lifting options for smaller businesses working on private houses and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other models comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are really adaptable and user friendly. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are specially designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are found in close proximity to each other.
